Strong wages. Excellent benefits. Real opportunities for people who want to excel.

At Squires Industrial, we know good people are the foundation of a strong company. Skilled tradespeople deserve competitive pay, benefits that protect their families, and work that gives them opportunities to develop and advance.

We also believe that a strong workplace needs clear expectations. We value people who take pride in their work, take responsibility, and want to get better. If that describes you, Squires Industrial is a company where your effort can make a difference.

Strong Pay That Recognizes Your Skills

Your knowledge, experience, and ability to solve problems have value—and your pay should reflect that.

Our advertised rotational heavy-duty mechanic positions offer $40–$65 per hour. For comparison, Job Bank lists a $38-per-hour median wage for heavy equipment mechanics in the Saskatoon–Biggar region. Compensation depends on the position, qualifications, experience, and assignment, but our approach is clear: we offer strong wages to attract and retain capable people. We want employees who bring skill and commitment to the job, and we recognize the value they bring to our customers and our company.

Excellent Benefits for You and Your Family

A good job should provide more than a paycheque. It should also help you look after your health and protect your family when life takes an unexpected turn.

We strengthened our benefits package effective October 1, 2026, with substantial improvements to dental coverage, paramedical services, life insurance, and disability protection.

Highlights include:

  • Dental coverage: Up to $2,500 per person each calendar year, with 100% coverage for eligible basic services and 50% for eligible major services.

  • Physiotherapy, massage, and other eligible services: Up to $750 per practitioner category each year, including chiropractic care and psychological services.

  • Prescription coverage: 100% coverage at Costco pharmacies and 90% at other pharmacies, subject to a $1,000 annual maximum and plan terms.

  • Income protection: Short-term disability pays 66.67% of weekly earnings, up to $1,524 per week, for up to 26 weeks. Eligible long-term disability benefits can provide up to $6,600 per month.

  • Vision care: Coverage for an eye examination every 24 months, plus $200 every 24 months toward eligible glasses, contact lenses, or laser eye surgery.

  • Life and accident protection: $50,000 in employee life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, with dependent life coverage also included.

  • Convenient medical support: Eligible employees and dependents can access 24/7 virtual healthcare through Consult+, along with medical second-opinion services through Teladoc.

These improvements represent a meaningful investment in our people. Our annual dental maximum increased from $1,000 to $2,500, and eligible paramedical coverage increased from $300 to $750 per practitioner category.

Eligible new employees generally join the plan after three months. Coverage is subject to eligibility, waiting periods, limits, and policy terms.

A Workplace Where Ambition Gets Recognized

We want people who want to excel.

That means showing up prepared, working safely, taking ownership, and delivering workmanship you can stand behind. It means being willing to learn, helping your teammates, and following a problem through to a proper solution.

We promote people who demonstrate that ambition through their work. Taking initiative and consistently delivering results creates opportunities to earn greater responsibility.

We also hold everyone accountable. Employees who repeatedly fail to meet our standards cannot expect to remain on the team. Our hardworking employees deserve teammates who carry their share of the responsibility.

The standard is straightforward: bring your best effort, take pride in the work, and keep improving.

Multiple Locations and More Ways to Build Your Experience

Working with Squires Industrial can take you beyond a single shop or a single type of equipment.

With shops in Saskatoon and Yellowknife, mobile service operations in Calgary, service trucks, and assignments at mining and industrial sites across Canada, we offer a range of working environments. Opportunities vary by position and project. Explore our employment opportunities

That variety gives skilled tradespeople opportunities to build experience in shop repairs, field service, diagnostics, and demanding industrial work. It also creates room for people who enjoy solving problems and taking on new challenges.

A Company That Keeps Moving Forward

Squires Industrial began in 2008, providing onsite repair services. Since then, we have expanded our capabilities and the reach of our work, supporting customers across multiple locations and demanding industrial environments. Our company history

We have grown in size and reputation year after year because of the people doing the work: technicians who solve difficult problems, tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, and teams that follow through for our customers.

As our company grows, we want ambitious people growing with us.
